How do you define success?

Sounds like going to NYU and getting the Martin Scorsese Award.

Certainly doesn't hurt, I'll tell you that much, but.

Like as in your kid.

My primary concern, of course, always as a mother,

was that my son should be, I'm going to say content.

I think happiness is going too far.

Yeah.

Happiness is putting an expectation on your child and life is not about happiness.

It isn't. There are happy moments in life. But life there is so much focus on people

being happy. What you really want to be is content. You want to like what you're doing. You want to feel

regulated. You want to enjoy your life on a daily basis. And when my child was

regulated, when I felt that he was engaged and regulated and that he was a kind child.

That really is my definition of success.

And the truth is, does he happen to be very intelligent?
