Hello everybody. Welcome to the Tom Wood Show, episode 740. Talking about Kosovo today, we're talking

about the intervention in Serbia all the way back in 1999.

This is a U.S. NATO intervention that Bernie Sanders supported back in 99.

And I want to get to the bottom of what it was really all about, what the motivations behind it were, what the rationale for it was, and what the consequences of it were.

We're going to cover all that today with our guest, Jim Jatris, who, by the way, I asked

Daniel McAdams of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity, who's a good source I should

invite for this topic? And he said, Jim Jatris. And I've read some of Jim's articles on this and

other topics. And I said, yeah, yeah, yeah, you're right. You're right. Jim is a specialist in

international relations, government affairs, and legislative politics. He's managing director at

Global Strategic Communications Group. For many years, he served as a policy advisor and analyst for the Republican

leadership in the U.S. Senate. He holds his JD from Georgetown University, and one of his

several sites where you can follow his work and that he's contributed to is savekosovo.org.

Jim, welcome to the show. Thank you, Tom. Good to be here. I got a lot of requests for this particular topic, and then I just finally said, if you can't beat him, join him. We're going to talk about this. Even though it's 17 years later after the bombing of the Serbs over Kosovo, it's still interest people because it's another case of military

intervention based around propaganda that a lot of people still believe. There's still people

who think Saddam Hussein was behind 9-11. You darn well better believe there were people who

still believe that NATO prevented a genocide in Kosovo through the bombing. So let's start from
