You look around and there's these other peaks and spires, like this granite just rising up out of the trees.

And it's beautiful.

And you look down and there's these high mountain lakes.

A phenomenal climb.

Like if you're a person that's into rock climbing, go climb the Mathis Crest just for the fun of it.

Just for the experience.

Today we're talking to Jason Hardrath. He was back on, he was on the show back in episode 604 talking about his 35 fastest known

times at that point. And he's on the journey to 100, if you remember. And what a fastest known time

is just a refresher. It is the fastest, well, it's

pretty self-explanatory, the fastest known time on a mountain or on a route to get somewhere. So

either, you know, for instance, running across the Grand Canyon or going across and back,

climbing a certain mountain, doing a certain trail. You know, every major trail has

the fastest known time. So the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail, Continental Divide, all that.

And then it's a lot of, you know, multi-hour experiences. They don't have to be super long

experiences like a through hike. They can be literally you know a few a few miles worth

of trail but it does need to be something relatively significant it can't just be like a hundred

yards randomly somewhere so jason is leading the world right now on fastest known time dot com

with the most fkTs and when we talked to him last time, he had 35 FKTs.

Now he is up to 99.

When we did this interview, it was a handful of months ago, and he had 94.
