conservative review podcast.

This is your host, Daniel Harwitz, back in the house midweek Wednesday, September 30,

the last day of the third quarter of this year, which cannot end soon enough in my book,

although God knows what 2021 has in store for us.

So everyone's asking, all right, Daniel, what do you think of the debates?

And my answer is, well, what debate?

There was no debate.

I both loved it and hated it.

I mean, at the same time, in many respects, it's a reflection of this country.

It's a reflection of the frustration.

So many of us independent conservatives have had with the last number of years where

on the one hand, President Trump by far is the only Republican that on some level indulges

are talking points intellectually.

We'll fight for us sometimes.

But then, you know, he just kind of like drags it away.

He either adopts a liberal policy at the same time, contradicts himself or just becomes

his own worst enemy and steps on his advantage.

Now I'm not here to tell you that I think the debate necessarily will wind up hurting

his poll numbers.
