in your journey with alcohol? Where did it all start for you?

Yeah, I'd be happy to kind of start from the beginning, like you said. Gosh, Annie, I've listened to so many of these

podcasts. I know this is how we start them all. This is how you start them all and yet I feel really nervous kind of going

back to the beginning but I will certainly you know I was I was thinking about kind of

how to start this and I wasn't like a big childhood drinker I kind of didn't start drinking until my late teens probably 16 17 18 was the like first time I ever tasted alcohol.

And didn't drink very much in high school, with one exception.

I remember very vividly getting kind of drunk on peach snops, not peach

wine coolers at a fish concert so that kind of dates me a little bit. But that was

just kind of one little minor blip.

I drank a bit in college, just kind of as, you know,

into that college scene. It might be important to note I'm a woman in a male

dominated field. I've an engineering background. So I kind of always felt a little bit out of place and that kind of continues into my whole life story to be honest just being a male in a dominated field. I working in the construction industry and I set a female in a male-dominated field, right?

And I want to make sure I didn't screw up my work.

And anyway, kind of moving through my 20s, I really didn't drink super heavily.
