The podcast where I explore real break-ups and the behind them, so that the Stuck Party can begin to

gain closure.

But also, it's really to help anyone who has ever felt that they've loved and lost to look at

relationships from a more compassionate place.

I ask every person who takes part in this show

if you could tell somebody in one sentence, why the relationship didn't work and why you broke up.

What would you say?

He wasn't honest in the beginning about who he was and we didn't have much in common.

I would agree with that but that's not the reason why they broke up.

This was a really, really toxic relationship, a rebound one at that, and ultimately obsession isn't love, its control.

As flattering as it is when somebody says that they love us or that we're the one when we've only

known them for a hot minute it's just not sincere in us for that to be true.

Now this story is going to be a little bit different in how we start because we can talk a little bit about the relationship

that happened before they got together, the one that basically calls the rebound.

So this story takes place in Denver, Colorado, which is where Abby is from, and she'd lived there on and off since she was a little girl.

After spending some time in LA and then she was in Australia for a while,

her visa expired, and so she headed back to Denver. She at that point had been single for almost two years so she hadn't even been on a date in that time and yet she was actually feeling quite on top of the world.

She was healthy, she was working out every day, she was feeling really happy in herself.
