Hi everybody, welcome to Rambdas here and now I'm Ragoob Marcus and I was prompted by

our media library custodian librarian Nathan Wilburne on a particular podcast he says to me is

there you all know me as Ragoob but my full name is Rog Vindradas but I never tell anybody that

because it's way too complex of a name for people even think of pronouncing even in India they

couldn't pronounce it which led me to just use Ragoob and he said is there any other this

Rog Vindradas do you know and I said not in the Satsang I don't think so I mean I don't know

he's I said why he said well Rambdas in this talk is introducing Krishna Doss and Rog Vindradas

and I went oh that's got to be from the mid 70s right he said yep so he actually found it

talk and I remember drumming I in those days in the mid 70s I was actually doing some drumming for

the Krishna Doss and particularly at Rambdas events and this was in Boston it was around Easter time

and I really do remember it because I'm drumming along and Krishna Doss is singing and chanting and

it's you know all lovely ecstatic stuff and but suddenly I look down and there's blood everywhere

I'm going holy shit what happened and it's my and I you know look at my hand and sure enough

the the ring that I had on my finger on my left hand had actually from smacking the drum so hard and

there might be even a few of you out there listening to this who remember me smacking the drum real hard

and I cut my it cut into my into my finger and I was literally gushing blood everywhere I was

a scene and it was at this lecture so this has all sorts of nostalgia for me but it's

it is a wonderful talk and also in that moment he in that evening he introduced his dad because it

was in Boston and in fact he had all sorts of different people from his past from the Harvard

days from the psychedelic days from the millbrook days from the india days from the joy of days

and he talked about it he had everybody there so it was quite a quite a moment the strands of his

story as he talks woven through his audience his story so you know what he talks a lot about
