about in a moment but before I do other intros and kind of our ad at the front. How do you have time to write a book?

So I figured out a way to squeeze it into life and basically I just I did the math.

I I embarked on this project at the end of 2017 my publisher

Harper Collins and my editor said we'd like to see the manuscript by July

so I said okay I got eight months, 80,000 words in a book of about 300 pages,

10,000 words a month, 2,500 words a week, and I just found if I kept to that schedule it becomes more

digestible so if you have you know if you're taking the train from

New York to DC you got two and a half hours of un interrupted time. You could bang out a few

hundred words. I would, I have the benefit of having a patient wife so I could run down

a weekend and bang out a thousand words and a couple of hours there.

A lot of the reporting I had done prior and then a lot of the interviews I was doing concurrent

with writing the book, so I would do an interview with a Jim clapper and plug it in as I went along.
