Are we seeing the revitalization of conservative civilization, all over the world has been a massive backlash against globalization, its leftist leadership, and its anti-cultural liberal values, and it's just the beginning.

I recently published a blog post on the Turley Talks website called Culture Shift. The American right has fully embraced nationalism, and that's what I want to talk about today.

1:07.0

But before I do, I want to make sure everybody knows the American Freedom Tour is coming up. It's starting in Jacksonville on October 8th and 9th.

1:16.0

So diving right into it, I want to talk about this blog post, which you can also read in the show description.

1:42.0

And one of the main motivations for writing this has been some of the comments from people like Tucker Carlson, Charlie Kirk, and even some congressmen on the issue of demographic shifts in America, on the issue of mass migration, legal and illegal, and the recent surge in Haitian and other immigrants from the border that has caused such a stern, especially the American Southwest, but also the whole country because some of these.

2:10.0

We've all seen the videos of people getting bus to places like Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio.

2:16.0

So this is a very much national and global issue, frankly, and I think it all really goes back, not it all goes back to, but one of the most important facets of this in the American conversation is 2015.

2:31.0

And the 2015 refugee crisis in Europe called, you know, the Syrian refugee crisis, I say that in scare quotes because many of those refugees, most of the refugees did not end up being Syrian, and also ended up being from Afghanistan, Iraq, and even a lot of African countries.

2:48.0

So the idea that it was entirely fomented by the largely NATO invoked conflict in Syria is a bit of a misnomer, but regardless that conversation and that reality that occurred right before President Trump got elected is really what spearheaded this revitalization of nationalism and populism that we here at Turley Talks left to talk about so much.

3:13.0

And I think that we're seeing right now in America a kind of catching up in one rhetorical sense with the European right because in Europe, we have seen these parties that have specifically defined themselves on restricting immigration, mass migration, and preserving the demographics, cultures, and traditions of their nations really rise to the forefront.

3:37.0

I mean, you see Victor Orbán and Hungary, he's kind of the poster boy for this re-traditionalization.

3:44.0

We have Salvini in Italy, and though he's not in power, he is very much a viable opposition, and it's based on all the polling we've seen, he is most likely going to be the next prime minister of Italy whenever the current tentative coalition collapses.

4:00.0

And then, of course, you have Vladimir Putin in Russia, and while he's not traditionally, they don't like to consider Russia traditionally, and in the European fold, the general trend of towards multipolarity fomented mostly by Putin, but also by Xi Jinping's China, that push away from just the American world order is a critical factor in the new re-traditional society,

4:26.0

that we kind of see rising up around us, Putin, of course, has restricted LGBT propaganda, has put a lot of money towards the church in Russia, and has seen one of the biggest Christian revivals post-communism of any nation recently.

4:41.0

And then, of course, all sorts of other European countries are seeing positive developments in this regard.

4:47.0

The left wing government of Denmark has become a very much immigration restrictionist party, they are deporting non-assimilated immigrants and all sorts of non-Dena's immigrants on mass, and they are making sure that Danish people are able with economic incentives to give birth and reproduce and have families in Denmark without the need to replace them with immigrant labor or anything like that.
