The 2020 presidential race is shaping up into a battle of such class, wit, and sanity

that it's bound to raise the level of political discourse in this country for years to come.

On one side, we have the exquisite high-mindedness of President Trump, who recently said of the

late Senator John McCain, quote, and this is a real quote.

I gave him the kind of funeral that he wanted, which is president I had to approve.

I don't care about this. I didn't get a thank you. That's okay. Unquote.

AIDS then explained to the president that McCain had not thanked him for the funeral,

because McCain was in fact dead. And indeed, that's why he was given a funeral,

which by general tradition is something reserved for dead people,

because living people don't like being put in a box and buried underground.

McCain himself was unavailable for comment being dead hence the funeral.

But while Trump's remarks were notable for their lofty philosophical detachment,

they could hardly match the refined and stately drullery of Beto or Rorck.

The Washington Post, where democracy dies and the darkness of sanctimonious self-deception,

obscuring a political bias that goes far beyond the bounds of ideological corruption and

constitutes a betrayal of both the precepts of journalism and the people the paper is meant to serve.

But I digress. The point is, the Washington Post reports that Beto,

and an effusion of null coward-like whimsy, once took a green turd from his child's diaper,

put it in a bowl and told his wife it was avocado. The Post further reports that Beto, while trying

to recover from his lost to Ted Cruz, ate New Mexican dirt, which was said to have regenerative

powers, while several New Mexicans looked on quietly chuckle into their sleeves,

because tourists always fall for that one. In short, between the classy behavior of our
