I just felt so much love and gratitude in my body. It was very strange. Like, you know,

when you first learn to meditate, it happens to some people. You just are like, you feel

like you're on drugs, like you're high or something.

Happy November, everybody. Ah, I love this time of year. I do have to say, I love it less and less

and Los Angeles. And in fact, I do get depressed, very depressed during this time of year when I have

to be in LA because it's very much the Indian summer. So it's so dry. Obviously recently,

it's been so smoky because of all the fires. It's fire season. And I'm used to fire seasons. I

grew up in a national park. So we have one every year since I was born. I'm actually weirdly

calm, cool, and collected knowing that both of my houses will burn down one day and designing them

with that in mind and having insurance policies with that in mind. But I cannot, my constitution

hates the dryness, the... Oh, like, and when I say dryness, I mean, yes, my skin's drier, the

air's drier. But I think what I hate most of all is how dry the land is. It's depressing to me.

It was so much sun and it's still usually warm this time of year. So I really find myself

pining for other areas. In fact, this whole time I've been in LA, I'm just like pining to get back

to the Forest Retreat House, which was... I had the best week there in October. The last day I went

...
