Hi here again, listener. We're dropping this episode on Christmas Eve, which happens to be my

birthday, which isn't the ideal time to have a birthday as a kid because I got overshadowed by a much more

widely known birthday of a guy named Jesus. But I'm not complaining. I will, however, tell you the

story of my older brother, who, when it was time to have his second child,

he said to his wife, I'll have a second child as long as he or she is not born around Christmas,

because I saw the injustice of my younger brother every single year getting ignored around the holiday season.

So fast forward and his second child was born on Christmas Day. Not around Christmas Day.

He was born on Christmas Day. True story.

Not saying that just for the drama, just for the ratings, just for the affection.

That is the God's honest truth.

So I say to my brother, you didn't do the math.

You didn't work backwards and you didn't change your behavior and that's what you get.

All right.

So I thought this would be a good opportunity to re-release an episode that deserves to be heard

by our now larger hair game community.

Tell us about your journey through the industry so far. Where did you start and how did you get to where you are?

I am, you know, my journey is so similar to so many other people in the beauty industry. I went to

beauty school. I, I, in the 80s. Like five years ago. Yeah, five years ago in the 80s. I was, you know, like so many people, I wanted to always do hair,

but I was kind of pressured to do the college thing, and that was a fucking disaster.
