Had some great success at Illinois.

Huge part of Brett Buehm was billed here, but now he's coaching the rival, Purdue.

And we had a sit down with Ryan Walters.

He was kind enough to give us 10, 12 minutes of his time here at Big Ten Media Days at Lucasoil Stadium in Indianapolis.

We talked to Ryan about taking a head coaching job, what he's learned his first nine or so

months on the job here.

We also talked to him about what it's like to be a rival now, recruiting rival, on the field

including his new quarterback, Hudson Card, won a battle over Illinois to land him. But Ryan's

a really bright guy. I know some of you don't want to root for him anymore, understandably

so, but I find his insight

really intriguing. And he talks to us about his time at Illinois, what it meant for him and his

path in his career. And I think you'll find out he's pretty appreciative of his time at Illinois.

Then we talked to BTN analyst Jake Butt, former Michigan tight end, why he's high on the Illini.
