Susan Rapier had a colorful young life. Born in England, she moved to Canada as a baby, to Australia in her young teens and finally to the United States at age 20. In the conversation, we discuss her early life, the church in remote areas, family and how all of these experiences built her faith. Susan is funny, open and has a great story to tell. I took the fast right along with everyone else, and 10 days off of social media,

I will just tell you it was wonderful.

Learned a lot about myself and I'm grateful to be back on and we'll be fully supporting this

episode, of course, and moving forward. But it was a wonderful experience and great to just take a

week off. I will say that much too. But boy, am I happy to be here. My guest this week, now,

all of my guests are special. No question. Every one of them has an incredible story to tell,

but this week's guest maybe is a little more special to me than normal, because my guest this

week is my own mother. My mom is an amazing person. Both my parents are incredible.

But my mom grew up with such an amazing story that she's told us. I've heard little bits and pieces all my life.
