This week we are going to be starting a new series on

engage in culture.

Today is session one, we're going to be talking about,

should we even engage in controversial issues?

And that's because there is.

There's a lot of teaching out there that basically says,

as Christians, we should never engage in controversy.

So I want to take a deep dive into that today.

Now let's look at it.

OK, so first of all, we have to understand that Christianity

is growing increasingly controversial in America today.

All right.

But it's a certain kind of Christianity.

Right, there's a type of Christianity that everybody's

OK with.

And that's the kind that basically boils down to,

boils Christianity down to, you know, love people,

you know, trying to be nice to them.

That's the kind of Christianity that everybody's,

at this point, is OK with.
