I absolutely cannot believe some cultures do this. It is so harmful to family members.

And as a parent, you have children and you want your children to thrive. And doing these

practice, they're so not only un-Islamic, they're just anti-child welfare and well-being.

And not even that, all the things that they're doing to their

daughters when they want to get married, I think we need to get a grip on what we're doing to our

families. They are not Islamic practices. They are in fact very cultural. Hello, Samu'a'aikum. Thank you for

How are all of you doing?

It's the most beautiful day.

It is the day of Arafa.

I'm so happy and grateful to be in this day, and I want to wish you all well.

If you're not all aware, right now everyone is in the middle of Hajj or towards the end of Hajj.

And tomorrow will be Aid, inshallah, our beautiful holiday.

And on this day, it's a beneficial day.

If you're in Hajj, of course, you're having an amazing time, inshallah.

But if you're back home and you didn't get to go and you'd love to go, but you're not there yet,

fasting is an amazing thing to do on this day because the Prophet Peace Be Upon Him mentioned that fasting will expiate since from the previous year and the following year.

So this is a beautiful beneficial thing.

And also just making a lot of good deeds because every good deed is magnified in this time in terms of reward. And so a lot of dua, a lot of good deeds because every good deed is magnified in this time in terms of reward.

And so a lot of da'a, a lot of vicar, a lot of beautiful, beautiful remembering of Allah

subana and just asking for a lot of forgiveness.

So this is what we've been doing in our family and it's just really, really beneficial.
