| 0:12.3 | and we're having a great time with it. Okay. Now, it's no secret. The fitness industry, |
| 0:16.1 | the one we're in right now, sucks. Whether it's the corrupt multi-billion dollar supplement |
| 0:20.1 | and weight loss industry or the |
| 0:21.9 | endless supply of influencers promoting anything to drive page views the bottom line is we're not just |
| 0:27.0 | trying to provide another fitness podcast but completely change the fitness industry for the |
| 0:31.0 | better by providing you with the knowledge and tools to give you the confidence in applying the |
| 0:34.9 | best possible training and nutrition into your |
| 0:37.6 | own life. Where today we actually just sat down with one of our, I would say good friends now, |
| 0:44.0 | Ben Carpenter with my most, I would rank this as my most enjoyed interview to date. |

| 0:58.1 | cool little ice plunge coming in so i'm chattering my teeth until about halfway through the |
| 1:02.4 | episode but he if you're unfamiliar with ben he gives us a really unique look because he's been in |
| 1:08.2 | this industry for so long and really aligns with how we try and see things a little bit. |
| 1:14.3 | We talk not only on the research facet because he's one of the most evidence-based and consistent evidence-based trainers I think I've ever followed and had the pleasure of knowing. |
| 1:23.9 | And we got into a real big topic of fitness versus health and really separating those two because so many people just use them interchangeably, defining what they actually mean and really defining where we want to go with that along with. |
| 1:37.6 | I mean, we bubbled up probably 10 other things in this episode. |
| 1:40.4 | Yeah, we talked about evidence-based nutrition, fitness, health recommendations, how to navigate social media. |
| 1:46.3 | If you are trying to lose weight or get any sort of health advice, we talked about motivation, self-confidence. |
