Hey everyone, it's Tiffany and welcome back to another week of Raise Your Hands Say Yes,

and I am really, really excited for this week's episode.

This week I'm talking with Amanda Kingloff, and Amanda is a blogger and a crafter and the author

of this awesome book called Project Kid that explores

kids craft and things that you and your kids can do together. But don't worry, if you don't

have kids, this episode is going to still be super relevant for you. I met Amanda at Alt Summit

this past summer and was really intrigued by not only

the brand that she's created around her own work and her project kid stuff, but also I attended

a panel that she spoke on about pitching. And Amanda has a really cool background in

magazine publishing and she spoke really brilliantly about pitching and the

things that editors are looking for and how you as an individual can reach out and

get your pitch read and accepted.

And as you guys know, I'm all about pitching.

I'm all about, you know, my 100 rejection letters project.

And pitching is not something that I'm afraid of, but I wanted to sit down with Amanda

because I knew that she was going to have a lot of really great stuff to share with

you guys about pitching from the editor's perspective and being able to really look at what
