I would definitely say that I'm a mystic this personality

this person that I have become in the world which is kind of this it's it's a

construction of so many different ideas and memories and experiences and we develop the sense of self.

But if we strip all of that away, what are we?

It's really easy to go out into the weeds of things when you're

talking about mysticism. You can really get far out there in things that just have no

rational basis in reality.

Almost like you take a prism and you shine white light through it

and you get a million different colors out the other side,

those million different colors are kind of all

the different religious traditions that we have.

They're all interpretations or translations

of that original mystical insight of oneness.

And I see Mormonism in that light,

that it is one of these expressions of the ultimate reality.

You know, if you dig deeper behind, you know, what is consciousness,

it seems like it does cross over into some kind of energy. We're not actually something separate from it. We are it that is

manifesting itself today in the here and now. But when we start digging down deeper through spiritual practices

like meditation or other means, we can almost penetrate through that intellect,

that duality of intellect to something deeper.

That does seem to show our oneness with all of reality.

Because the world is round.
