I aim for respectful conversations that are fairly brief and if at any point we

we start like debating and arguing then I've dropped the ball. My goal is not to

debate or argue it's to get clarity.

Remember we talked about like the metaphoric U.S. football field?

How we like progressed on the field and moved back.

In my view, the end zone of that is clarity.

It's getting a full understanding of your reasons

and how you're concluding that this stuff is true.

People that are reading the Book of Mormon

to disprove it are not going to find truth in it because they don't want it in the first place

A person has to want the truth in order to accept the truth that's in the book. Yeah, so I'd say if all you're doing is reading the Book of

Mormon to bash the LDS Church and you know try to tell them they're wrong,

then there's really no point because you're just going to try to find

policies in it which I don't believe there are in it.

We test these things every single day.

As like if we wake up we say a word.

Is it one of the tests that will never yield a result to show that you're wrong about it all?

We just say a personal spiritual witness.

You know that sounds kind of crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy.

If the desire of your heart is to know that these things are true and to know what you read is true,

then you get down on your knees and ask God.

And so for me personally, it's about the mindset you have going into it.
