Massacre and then all of a sudden I found myself immersed in this shameful event of over 150 years ago.

I went to the local library and read as many books as I could get my hands on on the massacre

and found myself completely engrossed in the mid-19th century.

I read Juanita Brooks, Will Bagley, Turley, Leonard Walker, and a few others.

There was one particular book that I read that really hit me hard, under the Banner of Heaven by John Crackhour.

This book is mainly about a gruesome cold-blooded murder by two religious fanatics, Ron and Dan Lafferty, but it also explores many other historical

events, like the origins of the Mormon Church, the secret practice of polygamy, the kidnapping

of Elizabeth Smart, and of course the Mount Meadows Masses. of

the kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart and of course the Mount Meadows Massacre.

I'm a pretty avid book reader and I immediately thought of a few questions that I
