Today on Cranon Company, the Lakers are one trick pony, Covington dominates Mosvedal

and UNC Shocks Duke and Coach Kays, final game at home.

We know LeBron James is on the Mount Rushmore of Basketball,

and his 56 point performance over the weekend only added to the legend as he continues to almost

single-handedly keep the Lakers in contention. But at some point, the supporting cast,

Westbrook Aides got to come back Malik Monk, they're going to have to start playing their role.

And right now, the Lakers are one trick pony. It's a hell of a trick, don't get me wrong,

but at LeBron's age, him having to go into overdrive the whole game is not a lasting formula

to put another championship on the mantle. We saw Kobe Bryant have to pull a similar

herculean feet in 2013 that eventually led to him rupturing his Achilles. At this current rate,

the team is nowhere near close to being a championship contender, even with LeBron taking over,

and the return of A.D. won't change that. Which really begs the question,

is it even worth it for LeBron at this point in Los Angeles? I'm going to bring in my co-host,

this tall drink of Water David Cone, my brother Blaine Crane as well. And guys,

to me, when I watch the Lakers and what LeBron is doing at this age, I mean, it's one step

away from Benjamin Button, I get it. But this isn't young LeBron and Cleveland. They can

overdrive it every night to get you to a championship. The more they're going to have to rely on him,

just being the guy every single night, not that it can't happen on a somewhat consistent basis.

But just having to rely on him to be the guy every night, it's not going to work if they want

to win a championship. They're struggling right now behind the clippers. They're right next to

the Pelicans who couldn't figure out a simple addition problem right now. Zion, I know, is coming back.
