And before things get busy and we get crazy into the week with 50 million issues, policies,

political issues, I really wanted to start the week off with something special.

And when I say special, I don't mean in a good way, but in a very important way that

we need to get right.

There is a raging, raging polydrug crisis in this country that affects every facet of

our lives.

70,000 people dying a year.

The cost is enormous.

It ties into our sovereignty.

It ties into crime and gangs and violence.

So much of the violence in our inner cities that we're seeing resurgence is because of

the drug crisis.

As we spoke two weeks ago with a victim who lost a daughter from fentanyl, no, high,

so this crisis is really evolving.

It has already evolved.

It's taken quantum leaps in terms of the type of people it sucks in, the type of drugs
