Hi and welcome back to Ramdas Here and Now. I'm Raghun Marcus and we have a talk here that Ramdas gave a long time ago. We've been picking talks that have recently been digitized and that whole initiative is going forward.

We have this wealth of material now to choose from. And by the way, thanks to everyone for your support. Without that support we couldn't even begin this process.

I'd say we're over half way done. Maybe something like that. Now usually I listen to talks and go through them a little bit.

I'm picking up on content and titles and something that jives with whatever I may be going through myself and how it might help me.

Which amazingly these talks even after all these years of knowing Ramdas and hearing so many talks doing this kind of work, I am still so amazed to find so much of what still is so very meaningful to me.

Again after all these years, this talk though, what grabbed me about this talk was more about the tone, the presence. It reminded me of those early days when I first met Ramdas.

I know many people have talked about that meeting him. There's a wonderful book by the way which you can get on Ramdas.org in the store called Remarkable Encounters with Ramdas and it's many people's recollections of their meeting with him and how it affected their lives. It's really pretty good.

Another great way to support the foundation. I picked up on this again because of the presence and just the feeling tone. It was very deep.

As I was listening and this used to happen to us when we were just going to these lectures in the early days with Ramdas and then meeting him and going to his father's farm and getting acquainted with the practices that he had brought back from India, from yoga to chanting and sufi dancing.

I don't know if he brought that back from India but that was part of the regimen.

There was a way in which beyond the message of the words there was a place that we dipped down into that was just a depth that we hadn't really experienced before.

I'm sitting here listening to some of this and started to get settled in a way during the moment that I listened to this that day. I was in the middle of my work day and my mind was doing its usual thing.

I started to listen to this and I'm making notes and all of that about what it's about. I started to settle in a deeper way with just the presence.

I think it must have been in that moment and like everybody he went through different moments and this was really a beautiful heart space. I hope you enjoy it from that vantage point.

I'm not going to say that there was some great content in here. Basically he's talking here about the stages of the journey that we all are on.

As we get into it, we go from our identification with body identification with psyche, through identification with soul and then ultimately to the ultimate identification with God or whatever that word means to you can be pure mind,

whatever any of the nomenclature that suits you can be. I love this one thing that he said.
