the week with a topic, I think, is both fascinating and provocative,

and that involves the criticisms of American conservatism, the official conservative movement

by people on the right who are kind of on the outs or were never really in the conservative

movement, who aren't altogether convinced that the conservative think tanks and magazines and commentators are really reflecting their views.

So it turns out there is a book on this very subject, brand new released just today.

I think today is the release date.

And it's by George Hawley, who's an assistant professor of political science at the University of Alabama. And the

book is called Right Wing Critics of American Conservatism. Very interesting. And it also,

it's kind of a who's who of who is, as I say, in a way, on the out. So that doesn't mean these are not

interesting people. A lot of them are very interesting people. Some of them have been guests on this
