Well, it looks as though a popular flea and tic collar is being reported to have caused deaths in dogs and cats and even some humans.

Wow, the bare, seresto collar. One lady, the story that they write about is she put it on her dog and then it was recommended to her from home.

Her veterinarian and then took the dog home and the dog, you know, stopped breathing rolled over and she didn't link it to the collar.

But apparently the hundreds of pets, tens of thousands of injured animals and it's harmed humans according to documents from the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Yet the EPA has done nothing to inform the public according to this article.

But a document provided to the story from the Midwest Centre for Investigative Reporting and from the Centre for Biological Diversity, which is a nonprofit organisation that watched dogs the EPA as part of its work to protect endangered species,

said thousands of pets are being harmed. And these collars were introduced in 2012.

They've received, the EPA has received 1,698 related pet deaths. Wow.

And they've reported more than 75,000 incident reports related to the collars, including nearly 1,000 involving humans.

So I would say that if you were thinking about putting a flea and tick collar on your animal or your kids, don't use the seresto developed by bear and now sold by Ilanko.
