called for greater civility between Democrats and those other dirt bags. The president

reminded all Americans that we, the people, are the first three words of something or

other, maybe the opening scroll to Star Wars. He couldn't remember. But whatever it is,

it's something important that people like. So he thought he'd mention it. The president

celebrated his many achievements. And indeed, even while he was speaking, ten kidnapped

American sailors were released by Iran because Iran was eager to get back to building their

nuclear weapons so they could destroy Israel while the rest of the Middle East goes up

in flames. So that's a positive. When it came to the economy, the president laid out

a vision of the future in which America becomes more like Europe. Whatever you want to do is

paid for by government for 70 years and then we go broke and Muslims kill everyone. Now,

being on the right took issue with this idea of the future. But to this commentator who

will pretty surely be dead in 70 years, I say, Allahu akbar and bring it on. To me, the

president's words increasingly made perfect sense, especially if every time he said it's

the right thing to do, you down to beer and a shot. In light of that, what could be more

inspiring to America's youth than the fact that I came to work this morning with a hangover
