Boy, man, it has been a long draining week.

I have a headache.

I'm recording later than I wanted to today because I've been working on this very long

essay on the courts, which we're going to talk about today in long form.

You know, one of the things that I know many of you like about this show is that we'll

discuss things that nobody else is talking about, but they're not these in the weeds, esoteric

things.

They're the linchpin of our civilization, stuff on immigration, healthcare, the courts,

foreign policy.

When you talk about the courts, every once in a while, we do more of a thematic show on

the courts and judicial power.

And the point is, nothing matters until we as a nation, we as a budding movement, solve

this one issue.

So long as our political system, which includes all three branches of government, the

states, the people, the media, the institutions, think tanks, law schools are going to view

the judicial branch of government as the final arbiter at any given moment or in the long

term of any public policy issue in the abstract, not an individual civil or criminal case dealing

with a person in his situation, but dealing with a broad public policy.
