Ryan Walters led at Illinois, and now Brett Bielma is tasked with replacing a

Royal's Award candidate.

So it's Jeremy Warner, Joey Wagner.

We will talk about who could replace Ryan Walters.

But first of all, Joey, well deserved by Ryan Walters.

Probably mixed feelings for Alinae fans that he's going to a big 10 rival.

But that's a big time job.

And the biggest note I will say here is Walters is the first Illinois assistant coach

to go directly from that job to a FBS head coaching job since Mike Loxley took the New Mexico state job in 2008.

So fantastic job by Ryan Walters.

And this is what happens to good programs.

People get stolen.

Yeah, so we should start with.

It may not feel like this right now if you're an Illinois fan, and I understand that.

But this ultimately is good for the program, like in terms of their health, right?

And in terms of their ability to, and Brett Bealman's ability, it's not good to lose Ryan Walters.

That's not good.
