It's a late night edition of the Ilan Inquirer podcast with a two commitment day from Illinois football, trying to end the class of 2023 with a bang heading into the early signing period.

Of course, we had the transfer portal happening.

Colin Dixon, three-star wide receiver added to the class.

Also an offensive lineman transfer from East Carolina University in Avery Jones.

We will talk about those two new commitments.

It's Jeremy Warner and Joey Wagner with you, both on offense, one longer term, one very

short term.

We'll discuss the quarterback question.

We'll talk about other transfer needs.

We'll talk about draft decisions here coming up.

But, Joey, before that, I just want to say our thoughts are with Mike Leach, his family, the Mississippi State community. Obviously, tragedy is struck there. And we've read all the same reports most people listen to this podcast have and certainly sounds dire. There will be a day we can talk about what that means for the bowl game and all of that,

but today is not that day. We don't have answers about any of those things. So any of your

speculation about that, I don't know. But I just want to extend our thoughts to everyone

affected by a terrible health situation for one of college football's most original voices,

certainly unique personality, and certainly Joey, a damn good coach.

Yeah, it came out as a surprise. It started really picking up steam yesterday, Jeremy, and you're

like, oh my gosh, this is really, really, it's dire there. And it's been, I don't want to say

nicer refreshing, but I have enjoyed the the clips of mike leech

that have found their way onto my twitter time like if he is a fun personality and like you get a

good laugh at going back and seeing some of those and you need voices like that in college football

right and he was a fun voice or is a fun voice in college football.
