This is Daniel Horowitz back in the house Tuesday around midday, December 17th.

And there is a lot of news in flux.

These are the times that try men's souls.

This is when it all matters.

These hours, these days, right before Christmas, when Congress bundles together a full year

of governance all into one or in this case two bills that in total are about a...

2,500 pages long.

And then they purposely vote on them within hours of dropping those bills.

And we have a president who has a veto pen that wields a tremendous amount of power.

He has a bully pulpit that he could use to marshal the American people on issues that

are so easy to explain.

So let's see what will happen.

As of this recording, the president has not announced any intention to sign our veto

bill.

I'll monitor that throughout the show.

I will tell you that the White House was fully involved in negotiating this.

So this is no surprise here.
