Alma 4 now we kind of did Mosiah 29 last time so I think we're going to start

We're not going to go sequentially I think we're going to start with talking about the

There is very little in the Book of Mormon that is more applicable to

teenagers and young adults in this church than this story of the Amlissides and I

find myself referring to it no matter what block of scripture I happen to be teaching.

It comes up in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and then the doctrine and covenants.

It is very pivotal and to all the young people that might be listening and especially to their parents out there.

I just think this is such an applicable story and not only that but I can't think of a better example of how the Book of Mormon restores the plain and precious things lost in the Bible.

One of the most complicated things in the Bible is made so clear and so plain by the story of the Amlesides.

So let's just jump in. Alma Chapter 2 is kind of the

history and then Chapter 3 is the commentary. And so who would you even say the Amlesides are?
