So you just got home from work. Okay, go off queen. Go off independent queen. Maybe you didn't.

Maybe you stayed home. Also cool. Go off relaxing queen. And you have a date tonight. Okay.

Okay, so here's the thing about a date. And this is probably for our first date, right? First of all,

fuck yeah, because a date is so fun. And dating needs a rebrand. For the longest time, we've been told

that dating is the zero sum game. We've been told a good date is a date that results in a relationship,

a marriage, even a baby, a house in Connecticut with a dog named Fido. And a bad date is

everything else wrong, completely wrong. I'm here to tell you that's a fucking lie that they

told women to make us miserable and try to get us get married before we're 27. Okay, which if

you're married before you're 27, like that's amazing too. That's not the point. You got it. Okay,

so the first thing that I want you to do is really internalize that that this isn't a good bad thing.

This isn't a test. This isn't a therapy session with cocktails. This certainly isn't you about

to perform your Netflix special with cocktails. This is just an experience. This is a mini chapter
