our next guest. Really, really interesting. We go into a few areas I hadn't expected us to talk

about. We obviously talk about Badwater and his unexpected first win. But actually,

how his second win with the course record he went into it having had

a fairly disastrous year because of uh he was unaware of his diet was letting him down we also talk

about how his approach to ultra running is is almost against the grain of what is is being

lent on more by runners these days and he's still a proponent

of doing very long runs and how he's how he's integrated those into his lifestyle given that he's

got a full-time job and also how why he thinks he's been successful at that and what you need to

do if that is your approach to make sure you are

actually recovering and it's not impacting on the rest of your training with also on injuries.

And then we talk about his Trancon record, 42 days, an absolutely incredible time and how he

completely bulls up his strategy and, you know know had to take day off in the middle of it

and it almost didn't come
