Today, we are going to talk a little bit about Theodore Roosevelt,

about how he became president,

and his development as a naturalist,

and how that flowed into him implementing conservation policies within the government.

Setting aside wildlife refuges.

Preservation, how about that?

Oh, by the way, folks, I am joined by my brother, the Gritty Brom,

and he is the man behind the camera.

So this is around the time period of 1889, 1899, 1900,

and it's a great story.

And I think this is useful because we learn a lot from history.

History teaches us about our future.

And the more we understand about the past, the more we can avoid the mistakes made in the past,

and also emulate the successes that happen in the past,

and apply them to the future.
