We are going to bring you a mailbag show today. We've got a ton of questions that

have been pouring in on a variety of topics. Sometimes in our short Q&A sections, Kelly Helgren and I don't get a chance to air

them all out. So we wanted to give them a little room to breathe this morning and make sure that we're

giving you exactly what you need because my philosophy

on personal finance has been, although getting an education is necessary and truly needed.

What brings people to personal finance programming and books and shows is often that you got a problem.

You've got something going on in your life

and you just need an answer and quite frankly you'd like it right now.

So we're going to do our best to do a little bit of that for you today. But

before we get there, there is one question that I know is on many, many minds right

about now. April 1st, you all got your college acceptance letters, or at least many of your children perhaps did.

Your financial aid offers have been rolling in since then they'll continue to do that

for the next week or so and you've got to figure it out and make a decision to let

which college know your attending tell the others thank you very much but I'm

going elsewhere in a very short amount of time and that's not an easy calculation to run

because these financial aid offers are often very very confusing.
