Damien, welcome back. How are you doing? Well, it's been a whirlwind, Andy. There are some weeks in money where not much happens, but then you get weeks like this week and it seems that everything happens at once since there's so many stories in fact

this podcast changed about four times what was going to be on it right up until the last moment

now we're recording this on friday and normally we try not to record it that late to give

Andy time to edit the podcast who's not working into the early hours. And unfortunately

this week, there's been so many things that have happened that we've had to change. So one of the

big stories this week is the car finance, a redress scheme that's been announced by the FCA. So we're

going to do a whole piece on that because there's a lot of nuance to that story. And so that had to be on the

podcast this week. So there'd be so many questions from people out there because it's going to

impact probably most listeners at some point. The other big story this week was the announcement

that the FCA is lifting the four-year ban on retail investors, so people like you and I, from accessing

crypto-etns. So people have heard of ETFs. Just think of ETNs as a version allows you to

access things like crypto assets. Now, they've been available in America and in Europe, but now UK investors will

be able to get exposure to things like Bitcoin and the price movement within their ICER and

pensions potentially going forward. And at the moment, if you want to invest in Bitcoin,

then you will normally do that via things like hard and

soft wallets. We've got a podcast we're explaining. We can put a link to it in the notes of this

particular show, but you could also do it via crypto exchanges. Now, the issue is, of course,

there isn't the consumer protection that people normally have when they're buying and selling

shares. So now that UK investors will be

able to access these crypto ETNs, I think there's going to be a wall of money of people who are

ordinary investors who are buying and selling shares and investing in funds via the mainstream
