For the first time in two months, we are talking about a loss in Illinois football loss 23 to 15

against Michigan State very disappointing loss for this team we talked with the

four captains after the game Tariq Barnes Alex Palteski Isaiah Williams and

Sidney Brown and Joey Alex Paucheski was almost literally seething after this

loss feeling what a lot of fans are feeling,

feeling what Brett Bielman was feeling after this game, which is a ton of disappointment,

given what they have to play for.

College football playoff is now out the window for this team.

Still a lot to play for.

We'll talk about that.

But, Joey, a lot of issues that we saw with this team during a

win streak that didn't hurt them all came up and popped up today. Special teams, Red Zone,

fourth down, defending tight ends and running backs. We'll dive into all of that. But this looked a lot

like the last East Division opponent you had in Indiana. These two games had a lot of those

similarities. Yeah, I was going to say, it's been two months, but to quote, Ms. Pam Beasley, they're the same picture. It's the same thing. It's Illinois. And now that's that kind of, I feel like that takes more away from Michigan State than should be taken away. But Illinois got in its way a lot. And it's everything you said, stuff that they've kind of skated by.

I think the two biggest, Jeremy, red zone issues, special teams. Those have been, we can die.

I mean, we will dive into it, the other stuff, the running backs getting out there, that whole

deal. But those are the two glaring ones that we've talked about red zone in the sense that it's

kept them from scoring more points, getting more of that sexy buzz nationally.

Special teams, you've skated by since that Indiana game with so many parallels between the two.

It was only got in its way.
