She was a towering figure and morning television for 15 years as the co-host of the Today Show.

She did a consequential award-winning reporting and impactful interviews like the one with Sarah

Palin in 2008 that really influenced the 2008 presidential race.

And now she's the global anchor for Yahoo, but beyond that, as someone who lost her husband

and her sister to cancer, Katie has become a huge force in raising people's awareness

about cancer, testing, and has saved countless lives.

I sat down and talked with her about all of that the other day.
