Listen, I'm gonna be 100% honest with you today.

I'm bombed because I didn't realize that for the first 10 minutes of this episode,

I'm talking into my computer microphone and not my like external microphone here that I have on the side of my computer.

So I've been like debating back and forth can I go back and just re-record this part but it doesn't feel right and my mom had to, my dad has got surgery

tomorrow so I can't re-record it with her and I, so just, I hope you'll bear with this episode for about 10 minutes.

It's just, it sounds like I'm on Zoom or something or on

Skype or something, okay? Anyway, welcome to the show. I'll introduce you to my lovely co-host, who is my mother, who has the best words of wisdom. Hi, mom.

Hi, honey. So we're trying to figure out how to do today's show and it's always a struggle because my

everybody that I've worked with has had a different theory when it comes to the type of show you should be producing and some people say you've got to get people

an escape right like oh where did the escape from what's going on in the world people listen to us they

want to get away from all the crazy stuff. And I have never really quite subscribed to that theory.

I always think that we've got to meet people where they're at.

And if the last thing I want to do is come on I actually have a

question and I've been dying to ask you since this this weekend but it just doesn't

feel appropriate it doesn't feel like it going to feel like the timing is just wrong.

The last thing though that I want to do is to come on here and be a downer, you know?
