The 500th episode has arrived.

We've made it.

It's taken 11 years, I think, to get this far, almost 11 years.

And 500 weekly episodes. We technically have

done more than 500, but I can't believe that we've managed to get this far, because when we

started way back in those days when I used to travel to your house, Andy, to record the podcast,

who would have thought that we'd have got this far? So I'm absolutely buzzing about achieving this milestone. I was talking to my daughter earlier today and she said to me, Dave, what are you doing today? Because they don't really know what I do half the time. They're not interested. And then I said, oh, I'm going to record a podcast and it's our 500th weekly show. So even at 15 years of age, I managed to impress my daughter with me doing 500 episodes. She said that quite a bit of commitment, didn't it, Dad? And it has done Andy. So I think we've got to pat ourselves on the back for actually achieving that milestone. I think we should. And as it's our 500th episode, we've decided to break from the traditions of what we would normally do in every episode. And there will be people coming to this episode for the first time even. So just to let everyone know this isn't a normal episode. We're going to do some reminiscing. We're going to be talking about the podcast how it was back in the day, 11 years ago, how it sort of evolved over those 11 years. And perhaps we'll touch on in this episode as well, the future of the

Money to the Massis podcast as well. So I suppose the first part of this podcast, we're going

to be doing that bit of reminiscing. What I would like to do is remind the listeners, I say

remind, there will be people that haven't even listened to the very first episode of the

Money to the Massis podcast, and actually I'd recommend that they don't listen to that first episode. I thought we'd go back in a bit of a time machine way,

and we kind of talk how we did it. How did it arrive? So the question I suppose I want to ask you

is, how did it start? Where did that first episode come from? Let's go right back to day one.

Okay, so I think for people who've not heard this story,

and there will be people who don't know, the full story of Money to the Masses.

So Money to the Masses came about as a concept, not the podcast, but as a website.

It started as a blog, what was that in 2010?
