Starting in today's game, regardless of sport, is turning into a school jumping arms race

in almost every collegiate sport, especially when we look at where we're at now in society.

And very rarely do we see ten years where the coach and the school have patience enough

to let a program form, develop, and then excel.

This Saturday in Cameron Indoor Stadium, we say goodbye to one of these soon to be extinct

style coaches in Coach Kay.

A man who embodied what it meant to not only be a teacher of sport, but a teacher of life

as well.

A reign of 42 seasons, which started with struggle, will end with triumph.

To add to this fairy tale ending is a matchup with arch rival North Carolina and what has

become the best rivalry in all of college basketball.

Will we ever see a 10 year like this again in an ever changing coaching carousel world

like we see with Jim Bayheim and a couple other schools, probably not?

And that's what makes this Saturday against the heels, a perfect ending for Duke's Achilles.
