Sometimes in life, there are matches made in heaven, peanut butter and jelly, Sherlock

Holmes and Watson, Will Smith and Carlton Banks, and so far, the 76ers pairing of James

Hardin and Joe L.M. Beade is working out beautifully.

The pick and roll is smoother than butter on flapjacks and the love fest with the Philly

fans, the same people who actually threw snowballs at Santa Claus has been on another level

as he talked about last night.

So what begs the question, are the 76ers now the beasts of the NBA East?

I say yes, and look, even though the three in O start hasn't been against the best and

the brightest of the NBA, including the Knicks, who are a disaster.

The combo of Hardin, Embed, Maxi, Divell and Tobias Harris, who's going to get it going,

looks really formidable.

The best teams are the ones that can attack you in multiple ways and win in multiple ways.

And with Joe L controlling the inside, James Hardin patrolling the perimeter like a great

white shark and the supporting cast finding more open shots than a gun range, the 76ers

are becoming a problem.

The biggest question to answer now is whether or not they can be Philly tough against teams

with junkyard dogs like the heat who play rough and tough, the bulls, the bucks.

Will James check out when the game gets physical and the shots aren't fallen?

And it turns into a rock fight like we've seen before, that remains to be seen.
