And welcome back, fellow patriots, to the conservative review podcast here at our Northern

Command Center just outside of Baltimore, Maryland, where the Teletubby Republican congressional

leaders are actually on their annual, aptly named retreat to conjure up what their sense

of purpose is what their mission is.

You also had last night the Democrat debate, which all my colleagues are obsessed with.

Anytime Democrats talk, we always want to know, Democrats, what are they doing?

Who is engaging in the Republican debate?

You know, it would be nice if at this retreat, just a couple of miles south of me, if we

actually had a discussion along the lines of what you and I have had the last couple of

days in honor of the 18th anniversary of 9-11, we've been discussing 18 years later, how

do we reboot, reprogram, redefine, what is it we're fighting, how we're going to fight

in the best way?

I think we've worked on a very substantial vision for really if you go back several

weeks, Homeland Security, Border, Immigration, gangs, crime, drugs, tied into foreign policy.

Iran, Afghanistan, what's in our interests, what's non-internetress, what's the proper

tool for dealing with each thing, which case shouldn't we be dealing with things?

Yesterday we spoke a lot about the lack of a vision is creating this vacuum that is

confusing the president, where the more aggressive so-called hawks have fallen on their swords,

have not properly given a vision of what it means to be tough on Islamic terror, on broad

threats that are not Islamic in nature, some are, some aren't like China, for example.
