Hey everyone, it's Tiffany and welcome to episode number 48 of raise your hand say yes. I'm really

excited for today's episode. I'm going to be talking with two guests today and we are

going to be talking about a new project. I have on the show Joy

Ueno and Melissa Bayon and we're going to be talking about the new conference that they have

created called the Hello Sessions, which I am going to be the keynote speaker at, and it's very exciting. This conference

is taking place on Friday, October 9th in Portland. It's a single day conference, and it's

going to be really exciting. You're going to hear all about it. In today's interview, and while

Melissa and Joy are working together on the hello sessions, they also have their own projects. So Melissa blogs at

Lulu the Baker and Joy is the voice behind Frock Files. And I could have very easily done an

solo episode with each of them. But I really, really wanted to have them on to talk about the

hello sessions because I find it so

inspiring that they created something that they wanted to see out in the world.

It seems really obvious once you say it like that, that that's what they did.

That's what people do.

But I love that they said, we want to have

a conference where there's a theme about taking action. It's not just about inspiration, where it's

small, where everybody feels really welcome and really loved up. And instead of just wishing for it,

they went out and made it happen, which, as you'll hear in the

interview, is sometimes exciting, sometimes terrifying. And you never know where it's going to go,
