Welcome back into the Yonanquire podcast, Jeremy Warner, Joey Wagner, back after a week off, got to Minnesota, Wisconsin for a little bit with the family and

getting geared up for the start of training camps.

We will continue our Alina Inquirer season position previews on the podcast.

I got five, six questions for the offensive line, a position I hold dear. I know Joey's been getting into

the further he gets into covering Illinois as well, because it's fascinating. This is where

a lot of Big Ten games have been won and lost. And for Illinois for a long time, they lost games,

but I do give Lovie Smith some credit, Joey, because he recruited some good

offensive linemen in the class of 2017. But most of them, besides Alex Fowcheski, have now

moved on. And now we get a revamp of the offensive line. One of the most intriguing

storylines of this season. And Palski back, Julianne Perl back, but a lot of newcomers.

And Brett Bielma, Bart Miller, one of the biggest things they've done, I think, through two years is kind of reloaded this position.

Well, this probably won't see their whole offensive line for another year or two.

But this obviously is what Brett Buehuma hopes is an identity moving forward as the

offensive line in a group that was pretty solid last year.

Yeah, Jeremy, there's so much intrigue because I think there's the two guard positions.

I know we're going to get into all of this.

The biggest intrigue for me, and I feel like a broken record over the course of the last

month and a half, two months, there is so much versatility on this line. And I, for whatever

reason, maybe it's not as interesting as I find it. I find it fascinating. Everybody,

save for probably Josh Cruz, right, maybe Barlow has positional flexibility, whether it

it be center guard, guard tackle. That, like, set so many different puzzle pieces on the table.
