So it's interesting because a huge amount of my clients aren't actually the kind of people who need dividends or need dividend income, but it makes them feel good.

And what they are are their risk-averse humans, and they don't care that they missed out on a plus 26% return last year in the stock market.

That roller coaster makes them queasy.

What makes them feel good is seeing income, cash, income deposited into their brokerage account

on a monthly basis.
