We have Mark Burley, having his jersey number retired on Saturday.

I had a chance to speak with Mark, so we want to get this out to you as soon as we possibly could.

So it is June 24th.

The White Sox retiring Burley's number.

We'll have the game for you on CSN.

Coverage begins at noon with a special one-hour pregame show.

We're going to have a lot of special guests. Frank Thomas will be here, Joe Creedy, Don Cooper, Scott Pitch Sednick, John Garland, to name a few. And then the full Burley ceremony, which if it goes at the speed in which he preferred to pitch, it might last about two minutes, three minutes, something like that. He's really nervous about this, just so you know, and you'll hear about it in the interview.

But we'll see how he does.

I think his biggest thing he doesn't want to pass out.

But before I get to the interview with Mark, a little bit about what made him so special.

He's one of the most beloved players in White Sox history, no doubt.

And this isn't just limited to fans.

It's his teammates, coaches, White Sox employees, vendors, security guards, random people in the

St. Louis area who Mark rescues when they get stuck in ditches during snowstorms. This is true.

I think he still does this. Mark drives around his big truck

looking for people whose cars are stuck in the side of the road and he pulls him out.

And he does it for free, just to help. That's the kind of guy he is. And no matter who you are,

I'm sure you have some kind of relationship with Mark, even if you've never even met him,
