So coming up this Saturday, June 24th, it's one of the most anticipated days of the year for the White Sox and White Sox fans.

As the team is going to retire Mark Burley's number number 56.

We're going to have the game and the whole pregame ceremony on CSN.

Our coverage begins that day at noon as the White Sox celebrate one of the most beloved players in White Sox history.

He's got tight bonds with so many of his former teammates.

But for the podcast, I wanted to talk to the person who, when the game started, had the

closest relationship with Mark.

He really had a front row seat and the best seat for most of his heroics, and that is A.J. Persinski. So coming up

on the podcast, I talk with A.J. about what it was like catching for Burley. We talk about the no

hitter, which A.J. caught. And the perfect game, which A.J. didn't catch. And there is an

incredible behind-the- scene story that AJ tells about

that day that I had not heard. That is coming up. Also, AJ has known Hawk Harrelson since he was a

kid. He talks about Hawk retiring from the broadcast booth and makes a very strong statement.

I think you could also call it a plea to get Hawk into the Hall of Fame. And then

later, Ryan McGuffie and I will talk with Dan Hayes, who's in Minnesota covering the White

Sox. Lots of trade rumors and trade possibilities with Jose Cantana, David Robertson, and Todd
