You are listening to the Gritty Podcast where we talk about all things gritty. Life is not

0:20.2

easy. It never was and it never will be. A good life takes grit. Prioritize who you are

0:26.9

and who you want to be because life isn't fair and a little grit can make all the difference.

Welcome to the Gritty Podcast. I am your host Brian Call and I am joined by my brother the Gritty

0:46.8

Bromine. How are you Brent? I'm well. Thanks. Great. Great. Well, thanks. Today's podcast is with our

0:55.7

friend Risa Lesser over at Louis Paul Optics. We ambushed her at the Western Hunt Expo in a

1:04.4

Western Hunt Expo style ambush and we went over a few of the new Louis Paul products that are out.

1:13.1

One of them is their new spotting scope which I used in Kodiak with Colk Cramer and I've used

1:57.0

So Louis Paul is just announced it's brand new RBX 3000, a range finding binocular that is

2:02.1

capable of ranging from 5 to 3000 yards or meters. It also reads temperature, pressure, angle,

2:09.0

and humidity. Combining a range finder binocular and atmospheric into one unit eliminates the need

2:13.9

to carry three different tools in the field which I honestly didn't believe I would do. I didn't

2:20.0

believe that if I had a range finding binocular that I'd give up my handheld binocular range finder

2:27.1

because for a Zibo hunter it's like well it's discrete you pull it up but you know you do

2:31.4

thing you put it down. But once I started using a range finding binocular in real life

2:38.2

which was the prototype I dropped off a cliff that belonged to Randy Newberg. Before I did that

2:43.1

once I used that I realized I don't think I'll go back to him inocular because
